The Florida Air Museum is proud to host NOAA’s traveling exhibit. NOAA is tasked with experimenting and understanding weather patterns across the United States. However, NOAA’s responsibility in Florida also includes hurricane monitoring. NOAA’s “Hurricane Hunters” fly into and drop sensitive sensors to better understand and predict hurricane activity off the coast of Florida.
